Refund Policy
A fair policy for clear scope, reserved time, completed work, third-party costs, and honest project decisions.
Refund reviews are based on selected service, payment stage, scope, completed work, reserved time, and third-party costs.
We first try fair resolution through clarification, fixes, route adjustment, project credit, or rescheduling where appropriate.
A lack of leads, sales, ranking, or revenue does not automatically create refund eligibility if the agreed scope was delivered.
Our refund principle
Refunds and adjustments are reviewed based on the real project situation, not only the payment date.
We first try to resolve concerns through clarification, eligible fixes, reasonable revisions, route adjustment, project credit, rescheduling, or partial refund where fair.
- selected service and payment stage
- agreed scope and work already completed
- time reserved and project status
- third-party costs, assets, or tools already purchased
- communication history, client delays, and whether work has started
Before work starts
If payment was made but no planning, strategy, design, development, setup, audit work, technical work, consultation, or delivery work has started, we may review the request and offer a fair route.
Payment gateway fees, transaction charges, taxes, or third-party costs may still be deducted if they are not recoverable.
- refund
- smaller route
- scope adjustment
- project credit
- reschedule
- hold or pause until the right route is clear
After work starts
Once work has started, payments may become partially or fully non-refundable depending on the work completed and time reserved.
If a refund request is made after work starts, Expert Dev Studio will review what has already been delivered or prepared before deciding what is fair.
- strategy, audit review, planning, research, sitemap, or structure
- copy direction, design direction, wireframes, UI design, or development
- forms, integrations, admin setup, payment-start flow, onboarding setup, analytics setup, or testing
- revisions, meetings, project management, technical setup, or handover preparation
If the selected route is not the best fit
If a paid route is larger than what the client actually needs, Expert Dev Studio may recommend a smaller route instead of forcing the larger build.
The goal is to choose the cleanest route, not the largest bill.
- smaller package
- adjusted scope
- partial project credit
- revised timeline
- pause before build
- audit-first approach
- partial refund where fair
Trust Leak Audit and free routes
Free audits, free briefs, free recommendations, and free checklist resources do not create refund obligations because no payment is collected for those routes.
If a free route later becomes a paid project, this Refund Policy applies from the payment stage onward.
Sprint or fixed-scope services
For fixed-scope services such as Trust Sprint, Smart Lead Funnel, or similar defined packages, payment may reserve a specific production window.
If the client cancels after strategy, design, development, or setup begins, the payment may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on work completed and time reserved.
If the client delays required inputs, content, access, or approvals, the project may be rescheduled or paused. Delay by the client does not automatically create refund eligibility.
Larger projects and milestone payments
For larger projects such as 3D Experience Website, AI Conversion System, Authority Ecosystem, or custom builds, payments may be divided by milestone.
The first payment may cover planning, strategy, design direction, reserved production time, architecture, setup, and initial build work.
Later payments may be required before handover, launch, or continued delivery. Completed milestones are generally not refundable. Pending milestones may be reviewed based on what has not yet started.
Monthly care plans
For monthly care, maintenance, conversion care, or support plans, fees generally cover reserved availability, monitoring, improvement time, updates, and support capacity for the billing period.
A paid month may not be refundable once the billing period has started or work/support availability has been reserved.
Cancellation can usually stop future billing, but does not automatically refund the current or past billing period.
Third-party costs
Third-party costs may not be refundable because they are controlled by outside providers.
If a third-party provider refuses a refund, Expert Dev Studio cannot guarantee recovery of that cost.
- domains, hosting, payment gateway fees, email providers, WhatsApp or SMS providers, APIs, and plugins
- subscriptions, stock assets, premium fonts, templates, software tools, licenses, and file storage
- automation tools, external integrations, and other approved provider costs
Payment gateway and transaction fees
Payment gateway fees, transaction charges, platform charges, taxes, currency conversion charges, and bank-related deductions may not be refundable if they are charged by payment providers or authorities.
If a refund is approved, the refunded amount may be adjusted for non-recoverable charges.
What is not guaranteed
Expert Dev Studio delivers the agreed system, website, audit, flow, design, or implementation scope. Business results depend on many factors beyond the website itself.
A lack of sales, leads, ranking, or business growth does not automatically create refund eligibility if the agreed scope was delivered.
- leads, sales, revenue, profit, or conversion rate increase
- search ranking, ad performance, social media growth, or viral reach
- third-party approval, payment gateway approval, WhatsApp/API approval, or platform acceptance
- client closing results, business valuation, or investor interest
Client responsibilities and refund eligibility
Refund eligibility may be affected by the client's participation, communication, and approvals.
- delays required content, feedback, approvals, or access
- provides incorrect information
- requests work outside scope
- stops communication
- misses agreed payment stages
- rejects agreed work without clear reason
- requests a new direction after work has started
- asks for results not promised in scope
Revisions and fixes before refund
If the concern is about clarity, quality, functionality, mobile layout, form issue, broken link, or scope-related refinement, Expert Dev Studio may first offer eligible fixes or revisions before considering a refund.
Refunds are not the first step when the issue can reasonably be corrected within scope.
Non-refundable situations
Payments may be non-refundable or partially non-refundable when work, reserved time, or approved costs already exist.
- work has already started
- strategy or planning has been completed
- designs or builds have been prepared
- project time was reserved
- third-party costs were paid
- client changed direction after approval
- client delayed required inputs
- milestone work was completed
- support window was used
- handover was completed or project was launched
- the request is based on business results not guaranteed
Route adjustment and project credit
If a refund is not appropriate but the current route is no longer the best fit, Expert Dev Studio may offer a route adjustment or project credit.
Project credit may be used toward a smaller service, future work, care plan, audit, or adjusted scope.
Project credit is not the same as cash refund unless clearly agreed.
Refund review process
To request a refund review, email hello@expertdevstudio.com.
We will review the project status, scope, completed work, payment stage, third-party costs, and communication history before responding.
- name and email used for payment
- business name
- project code or lead code
- selected service
- payment date and amount paid
- reason for request
- what outcome you believe is fair
Response timeline
We aim to review refund requests within a reasonable time.
Some reviews may take longer if they require checking payment records, project files, third-party costs, scope history, or communication history.
Approved refunds
If a refund is approved, it will usually be sent through the original payment method where possible.
Refund timing may depend on the payment gateway, bank, provider, or payment method.
Expert Dev Studio is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers after the refund has been initiated.
Fair resolution
Our aim is to act fairly, clearly, and honestly. The right outcome depends on the actual situation.
- fix, revision, or clarification
- route change, scope adjustment, or reschedule
- project credit
- partial refund
- full refund before work starts where appropriate
- no refund where work has been completed or costs are not recoverable
